All they are doing is adding minor updates to their processor line for next year, like the Pentium D's going on the 65mm and having 2+2mb of cache instead of 1+1mb of cache like the current smithfields.

The Celeron is going to be on the 65mm to, but will get a much needed FSB upgrade to 1066mhz. The cache jump will be small and is only going to get bumped to 512k.

I think intel is trying to take the affordable route like AMD did which paid off big, by making their Dual cores cheaper then AMD's Dual Cores.

What, you just want opinions? 'Cause that's all anyone can give you at this point. As for Intel going out of business, I seriously doubt it. AMD currently has the upper hand when it comes to the new 64-bit Computers. They run much cooler, and cost less too! I was actually thinking of going to an INTEL system when I upgrade, but after reading and reading about the two Companies 64-bit systems, it looks to me like buying an INTEL system is a waste of Money. Sure, they'll work well, but why go with intel when AMD costs less, and flat out Performs! :-)
