Guys,

What are safe temps?

With my system using hmonitor my temps are
mainboard 38-39 cpu1 15 cpu2 50-52
Are these temps ok??

Steve: I have the same mobo and similar processor. Provided that your rig is in a room temp enviroment, your temps are well within safe limits. Judging by your case temp I would say your vid card and harddrives are kicking out some good heat. Ignore the cpu1 temp. It's a false reading. Our mobo only has 2 temp sensors. It wouldn't be a bad idea to think about some additional cooling for your harddrives and you certainly won't go wrong by adding a slot fan with some home-made ducting that sucks air from the top of the case. A slot fan will work well to lower the case temp and, in so doing, will also lower the cpu temp. Slot fans are dirt cheap and run nice and quiet.
