Comment: i was just wondering if my cpu temps were in the right range for my amd 1800+ cpu... my cpu usually runs at about 45-55 C and the temp in my case normally runs at about 25-35 C. I have a volcano 7 processor fan as well as three other cooling fans.

Reply: (edit)You're running about right....what are your "under load" temps? If they are no higher than about 55-60 or so, things are running relatively "cool". Anything above 68-70 C would be getting warm.

Reply: (edit)That seems about right. My 1800+ is clocked as a 2000+ (1667 mhz)...I'm using the retail HSF with thermal pad. It's a warm day here...about 80F in my living room (approx 27C). Right now, my case temp is 31C & my CPU is 49C under a light load...
