CPU/Ram: 1ghz athlon

Can anyone tell me what the normal [safe] temperature is for a 1ghz athlon thunderbird? or a computer cpu in general?

Something around 60°C for a 1Ghz Tbird...maybe 5° higher.

Case airflow and cooler selection will raise or lower temps.

You'll get more help if you are more specific and let us know what you're runnin' for a case, fans, heatsink/fan and so forth.
