can someone tell me how to overclock a 3.0 ghz Prescott P4 socket 478? and what to overclock it to?

First off, Teach yourself. By that i mean look at the type of forums that exsist here such as windowsXP, PDAs, Linux and "OVERCLOCKING". Once you have found the right forum for your question dont just start asking a vague question. Look through other posts first, because chances are SEVERAL other people have asked the same question or atleast something similar. Wooops you have a Prescot core good luck keeping that thing cool. If you seriously want to OC get a GOOD cooling e.g uprated HS & FAN or Watercooling cya Damian
