System turns off suddenly...

HI i am lakshmi kanth...When i switch on my system, it runs for a while and suddenly switches off..i.e cpu working stops...in order to start again i am not able use power on button on my cpu it is not starting...i use to totally power off and on my input power to my system and then the power button in my cpu works.... this happens continuously...so any one who can slove this problem...please help me...through this forum or by mail..

The CPU is a chip the plugs into the motherboard...usually made by either Intel or AMD. It is NOT the tower & everything in it. Post your question in the hardware forum.
