Reply: (edit)CPU MAX temperature is 90 or 95 i think and at 40-50(anything under 60) is a good temp! I don't know what is the SYSTEM maximum temperature but your temp is just OK i think! add 1-2 fans at the side of your case and your temp will go under 40 or even under 35! i think your PC is running OK!

Reply: (edit)Both Intel and AMD recommend a max case temp of 40C. This is when ATX case specification comes in; good case ventilation. Most motherboard reports system temperation with sensor located on the board, which could be slightly high than the air inside the case where the CPU fan is sucking to cool the CPU. So, the closer the temp inside the case with the outside case temp the better. When you can manage a lower case/board/system temp, you stand a better chance in lowering the CPU temp. The best CPU cooler will only transfer more and increase heat inside the case if case ventilation is not considered. Hence, there is a big difference between PC sold at discount stores and customer built units.
