Help, I have a system that can support 64, but i am running 86. Is there a way to get it to switch and run in 64? which is better correct?(without a windows reinstall)Also would it use and recognize that I have 4 gigs of ram, instead of just seeing 3 gigs, or is that a XP thing. Thanks

A) Presently you are running a 32 O/S

B) If you wish to run a 64 O/S then you have to clean install either XP-64 or Vista-64 or one of several flavours of *NIX.

C) The 3gb Memory issue is related to a 32 O/S, not an XP thingy!
