Hello
I have Pentium 3 (slot) (coppermine) processor.
ABIT BX6 motherboard.
I've been trying to make my processor work at 1GHz, but it's not stable at that speed. I knew i had to play around with Core voltage. I've downloaded many programs which would measure tepmeratures, voltages.
I went to CPU SOFT MENU in BIOS to increase core voltage, i set it to 1.75 but another function of my BIOS would show it as 1.8. And all of my programs show it as 1.8. I have sandra, hmonitor, speedfan4.7 and they all show same 1.8. But why? i set it as 1.75.
What should i believe?
Thank you

if your cpu is made for 1 GHz, then if you keep your voltage to default, then it should run stable.......however, it could be something else causing problems, like RAM or possibly power supply
