I'm going to upgrade to a Duron 1.3 gb. The BIOS is the most recent version. I'll have to change the jumpers.
What is the correct order of changes?
1) Do I first change the BIOS setting to the next higher clock speed, swap the cpu, and then change the jumpers and continue changing settings until I reach the correct speed?
or
2) Should I leave the 750 in, change the BIOS clock setting to manual at 7.5x, change from jumper free to 100mhz and 7.5x and test to see if the changes work, THEN swap the cpu and continue increasing the multiplier to reach the correct speed?
