speed up my acer aspire one

Specs: Windows XP
hello, the computer that i am asking about is an acer aspire one with an intel(r) atom(tm) CPU N270 @ 1.6 GHz and 1 GB of RAM. i was wondering if there was a way to speed up this processor/ overclick it. if not can i upgrade it to a new processor without having to replace the rest of the motherboard?

The Aspire One is a netbook, right? As the name implies, their primary design purpose is to surf the internet...you don't need a blazing fast system to do that. You'd be wasting your time trying to upgrade it. If it's not fast enough for your needs, sell it & buy a laptop or notebook with better specs.

I had installed Win XP in a Acer Aspire One (512 MB / 8 GB) doing the following: in the Bios, disabled D2D; FAT32 formatting and after upgrading with SP3 and installed the XP drives, I had installed “flashpoint2009b6” – this do memory cash to write on SSD – this improved a lot the performance.
