this guy recons its the nuts for thermal compounds. if you read the description its better than artic silver and non conductive etc....

I did a google on it and discovered its a type 44 poly synthetic grease???wtf

But if its that good surely we would all be using it.

Does anyone have any info on wether this guys claims are real or if hes selling absolute crap.

Actual fact would be nice if anyone knows any and IM DEFFINATLY not plugging this ive got nothing to do with the ebay auction just wondering if this guy is a con or not.

Thanks all.

Just to clarify, we also have marmite in australia and it's completely different from vegemite, and i also get better temps of vegemite due to its higher yeast yeild and becasue its made in australia.

(Just kidding i made that last bit up =D )

Hello All.....well this is the guy who sells SPECTRA COOL on eBay. I don't normally go to these forums anymore but someone is hitting them all with the same type message! Seems the competition is feeling the pinch! HA HA

First I'll guarantee you that it's not Type 44! That is a little misdirection promulgated by the competition! SPECTRA COOL is just what we advertise a proprietary product not sold under any other label or brand name! Second, it does beat the leading silver product AS 5 by on average 4 degrees or more. Don't believe it just go to eBay user id: greatpcstuff and check out our feedback and you will see.

So, why are there no big online reviews of SPECTRA COOL? I don't believe in them, have no faith in them as 99.9% of the sites with them have a monetary interest in the winner!

Consumer results are real, not staged or hedged. I never ask anyone to leave false or misleading feedback just that they "tell everyone what they think of SPECTRA COOL". It has a "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE"! Have I ever refunded any money? Yes, if I remember correctly it has been a devastating 2 refunds.

Saddle up for some COOL CPU RUNNING!

The SPECTRA COOL “NUT”, Jim

What do I think? I doubt this will stay here in this post more than 48 hours! It’s probably a site ran by the competition as well! So we shall see!

EMAIL QUESTION :
What is the thermal resistance of this material?

REPLY
Hello, thanks for your interest in SPECTRA COOL.
I'm sorry I can't quote you a thermal resistance figure.
They are quite meaningless, so we've decided it shall remain a trade secret.
If you're concerned about it, don't be: just look at the results in our feedback.
The results you obtain when the product is in use is what counts, not specifications.
Comes with a money back guarantee.
Give it a try and if you are not happy I'll refund your money.
Thanks, Jim

GEE, THANKS FOR CALLING ME AN IDIOT
Results are directly depenendent upon a material's
_______________thermal resistance/conductance.

If you sincerely believed the figure to be meaningless,
________________ it would NOT be a trade secret.

Though I'm still interested in it's long-term performance,
_____ I'm guessing those factors are also trade secrets.

In any case, thanks for answering my question
