Comment: I have a Soyo SY-K7V Dragon Plus motherboard that I got as part of a barebones kit from TigerDirect. At first I had lots of problems with it then finally sorted it out and got XP Pro working on it but it only run at 1250 mhz, instead of 1.66, which it is suppose to. The reason is that in the BIOS the bus is set to 100 instead of 133. When it starts up it identifies it as AMD Athlon 1250 mhz. When I set it to 133, it correctly identifies the CPU, but then it crashes. Does anyone have any ideas or know how to fix it?

Reply: (edit)may want to up the voltage to the CPU, latest BIOS, and check the memory. when you change the FSB to 133 it changes it for the processor also.
