I don't think its a BIOS setting thats causing your problem. I think it mite be power supply

PC2400 - that's a new one to me. I think you have seen a miss-print on another site.

DDR SD RAM is only made for the following FSB's (MHz)

100 (200 DDR) PC1600
Duron S/M, 200 FSB Athlon =XP2700

200 (400 DDR) PC3200
Overclockers...

Personally, I would see if it runs at the proper speed with only one stick of RAM before splashing out on a new PSU..maybe even test the memory with memtest86 if you can be bothered..

Well, I tried to run it with one stick of ddr 124mb 2100 with no luck. Still can't up the fsb to 133mhz,so the demon still exist.I really do have two sticks of ddr pc2400 though. They ran my comp. great until I upgraded the MB.+CPU From a Shuttle ak31a MB w/ a Xp1700 CPU to my kt333 Soyo dragon ultra platinum edition MB. w/ an AMD xp2100 CPU.
The shuttle MB had a chipset that was a VIA kt266a,vt8366a/vt8233. vt8366a,integrated high performance DDR DRAM controller.I'm so confused its painful,--haha. thanks all

I think you'll have to get a new PSU, one that's 400W or more for that system I reckon.

I went as far as to even try a new mobo + cpu w/ no change. If I bring the fsb down to 127mhz.then my system will run just not totally solid. Its slower than my old xp1700 was. But whem I up the fsb to 133mhz. it reboots over + over.I tried diff. ram and got a new Antec tru pwr 550watt psu.and now have a new Abit mobo. w/ an AMD XP2100 and arwe still having the same prob. I am goin crazy tryin to figure this out.
Thanks for any input.
Ray Ray
