I have a Soyo Dragon KT400 Ultra Black ed. Mother board with an Athlon 2800 XP. For some reason the mother board will not let me set the proc. frequency to above 170, oddly enough, my cheaper ECS motherboard will let me push it to 185. Also the mother board doesn't even Recognize the 2800, under system properties is says Unknown Processor. Can anyone tell me why i can't OC my processor anymore. I already know its not the PSU. And also how can i get the mother board to recognize the processor?

I would leave the bus speed alone due to bottlenecks such as the ram in your unit. Just up the multiplier as much as you can with the system remaining stable. Also, windows will only recognize the name of your processor ( i.e. 2800 ) at stock speed.
