Help !!!!
Pleas help me to overclock my Machine .
I have the comes contents:
P4 1700
MB Intel D850MV 478
Sumsung 256 RDRAM 800Mh
60 Gb.
This Is really possible to overclock this machine ? So How ?

I don’t have your MOBO so I reviewed the owner’s manual.

I can’t see any way to alter FSB on the MOBO or in BIOS.

I likewise can’t see a way adjust Core voltage.

There are many CPU/MOBOs that would be easier to overclock than this one.

this is like the 3rd post someone has asked to overclock a p4 1.7 ghz with d850mv motherboard.

And for the other 2 responses...I said it's impossible...I know, because I have that exact configuration. If you want to overclock your already fast computer, change motherboards

I guess it must be you mobo; because, I have a p4 1.7 with an abit it7 max mobo and I can overclock my machine to 2.27 mhz stable.

HAHA u mofo u go a 1.7 ghz p4 with the rambus wth would u wanna over clock it.....but heres waht i say to do
1)open ur case
2)put a toothpic in your heatsink's fan
3)start your computer
4)watch it fry
5)pull out the tooothpick
6)close the case
7)go tell your mom your computer blew up and u need a new 1
if thaat dont work u need to learn how to work with computers :-P

Find out if you can exchange your mobo for a
new one. Get an Asus motherboard, and see if
you can change the fsb speeds and cpu core
voltage from the bios before buying.
That is if you really wanna overclock...Or
you can wait for some time, as your cpu is
already quite fast.
