first of all is there anyone that knows where i can get a cracked version of cpu cool:D?? and how much could i overclock a 2.8ghz processer with a stock cpu fan? max temps? i know the motherboard can handle up to 3.6ghz but i dont want to burn anything up.
I think you're wasting you time with an HP, but you can try CPUFSB which is stripped version of CPUCOOL

no dice, andrew. i have an HP too, i tried softfsb and cpufsb. unfortunaltly HP usesproprietary and unlisted PLLs. the program doesn't support HP's PLLs. i know it sux, sorry man.

Oh, same question as before...
The stock intel cooler is a good cooler...just a little noisy compared to some aftemarket units.
Watch your temps and go for it.

oh, it worked. i would not trust the standard intel cooler as it's likley to be cheap crap. i would get a large nice cpu fan, which you can pick up for about $10.00
