Looking to know what is the best Mobo for a Socket 478 with very good OC ability.
Hoping to get a 2.93ghz Celeron D Cpu @ 3.4+ speeds for no reason other then to do another project.

yes, i did. i now have it up to a 2.48ghz gonna go for DDR500 or 600 and push it further. but could you tell what would be a good Mobo JAM? pretty plz...

I would go with the ABIT IT7-Max2v2,or the ASUS P4PE Deluxe.Both are excellent overclockers.

what about a Asus p4p8? Mobo??? It is a newegg.com mobo for about 95bones. had decent reviews. peeps said they got 600-800Mhz tweaks from the board. plus asus make solid boards too. never had one pop on me yet soo. what do you think this board can doo?

You have the list of the best overclocking motherboards,and if you want the max overclock results?then i would go with the top 2,or the abit.I own a Abit Nf7-s 2.0,and it is an excellent overclocer,but its an amd motherboard,but one of the best overclockers by far.
