I have a AMD 2600+ CPU AND 1 GIG mem, but the CPU speed is 2.09 mhz,The fsb speed is runnubg at 166 yet I getting a slow response on Carbon.I have a 128 meg, FX 5200 graphics card but the game is still slow. PLEASE ASSIST

I don't know what you're getting at with the CPU. 2.083GHz/333MHz FSB (12.5 x 166MHz) is the correct speed for an Athlon XP 2600+. What speed RAM do you have? Run the RAM at 333MHz DDR (166MHz) to match the CPU.

Your system is a bit outdated plus the FX5200 isn't a very good card, but the requirements for NFS Carbon aren't all that steep. You *should* be able to run it with no problems.

Make sure you don't have a bunch of garbage programs running in the background. Scan for malware/spyware, run a system cleaner, etc. And make sure all your drivers are up to date.
