Comment:
I have a dual core setup with 4 * 512MB OCZ Premier modules in dual channel mode with 2.5-3-3-6-2T timings. I get a Sisandra Memory benchmark score of appx. 4400MB/s. Isn't this very low compared to the theoretical limit of 6400MB/s? I know I am running CAS 2.5 and 2T, but I would still have expected something around 5500MB/s.

Reply: With doing that type of comparison you will almost always feel deflated. There are so many things that you don't know about the systems your results are compared with. You would need to know things like, what BIOS ver do they have, what psu, what programs, what tweaks, what cards, even down to the date of manufacture of the mem they have and are all their drivers up to date. (are yours?) The bottom line is, despite what they show as mem score, are you really comparing like for like. The odds are you aren't. Use them as a guide, nothing more.
