showin wrong cpu readin on boot up

OS: xp
CPU/Ram: amd 2400 1gig o ram

when i boot up my pc it says i have a xp1800+ cpu installed when really its an xp 2400+.. motherboard asus a7n8x default settings.. is it the settings and what settings do i need ..thanks

in the BIOS change the FSB settings from 100Mhz to 133Mhz FSB. Hope this helps.

hi you need to gointo bios and make sure ur cpu setting is set for xp2400 and you might want to check for any bios updates!!!!
