I love to overclock cpu`s,and Im debating on buying the Amd Opteron 148,or 146,and coupled with the Dfi lanparty ut ultra d,or the Expert.Anyone have these rigs?any personal experience?I know the 146,and the ultra d are cheaper,but Im wondering if the expert and the 148 are worth the xtra$$$$.

146 is better since it has lower multiplier resulting higher FSB when overclocking... i.e

148 2.2 ~ 200x11 o/c 3Ghz ~275x11
146 2.0 ~ 200x10 o/c 3Ghz ~300x10

Both running at 3Ghz but the 146 will out perform 148 due to higher FSB.. As long as have DDR600 to 1:1 with 300Mhz FSB, you will be fine, otherwise, you can always buy the lowest latency RAM like DDR400 CL2-2-2 3:2 setting...
