Server Class Processor?

I wanted to use the Novell Eval disk, but the system requirments call for a Server Class Processor.
I only have a P2/400 at my disposal for a test machine and it's just a regular desktop. Will it make a difference? Is there truly a difference in the CPU? Or is it a diffence in the MB (dual CPU, etc)?
