I was thinking about getting the AMD Sempron 64 3000+, but it has 128K L2 Cache, and the AMD Sempron 64 2800+ has 256K L2 Cache. Which one is goin to run games faster?

To my knowledge the l2 cahce is really what separates the amd chips, the higher the l2 cache the better the chip. AMD lowered the L2 cahce for there "budget" (celeron like) sempron comsumer grade chips.
Windows Xp Pro X64
AMD Sempron 64 3000+
768mb Ram Pc 2700
Radeon X300
Nforce 4 Motherboard
Realtek AC97 Sound

I know this is about the Sempron 64, but just to clarify what doug_brit wrote...there are 3 different Semprons:
- the socket A Sempron is basically just a renaming of the Athlon XP & the model numbering has changed. Most are based on the Tbred or Thorton core, but the FSB has been bumped up from 133MHz/266 to 166MHz/333. The 3000+ is the only socket A Sempron based on the Barton core.
- the socket 754 Sempron (non-64) is a 32-bit version of the Athlon 64 with less L2 cache.
- then there's the "new" socket 754 Sempron 64:
