Comment: Hi, I have recently overclocked my sempron 2600 skt754 from 1.6ghz to 2ghz with fsb running around 250mhz. Reply: (edit)Plus you got the 128k L2 cache Sempron version instead of the 256k L2 cache Sempron version which will limit your OCing even more. Not to mention you will see little preformance increas regardless of how much you OC it because of the 128k L2 cache size. The bigger the L2 cache size the better the preformance will be when you OC a processor. If you really want an overclocking processor then go throw down 120 bucks for a S754 AMD Athlon 64 (Venice) processor. It has 512 L2 Cache on it. You could easily get that chip up to 2.4 on a stock heatsink and fan stable or even higher.
