Comment: i have an amd athlon xp 2200 1.8ghz processor and i am a bit of a newbie when it comes to overclocking stuff n a bit wearly incase i duff it up i feel to be safe i could go to 2ghz or 2.1 ghz how would i go about overclocking and if if was causing problems could i roll back to 1.8ghz

Reply: (edit)Please refer to your CPU by the model number, it would make things easier - you have a 2200+. It would also help if you listed the make/model of your board, & what RAM you're running. If your multi is locked at 13.5x, all you can do is raise the FSB a little at a time (if your board supports raising the FSB in increments). If you don't have the option to lock your PCI/AGP at their defaults, they will overclock along with the FSB, so that will limit your overclock. And if you're running PC133 or PC2100, that will also limit your overclock. In other words, you need to list your specs before someone can help you. Hellz Yea!
