Hello,

On my laptop, whenever I open Firefox, the CPU goes to 100% and pretty much stays there, even when I have nothing else open.

Here is the system info for my laptop:
Windows XP version 2002
Service Pack 3
Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R)
III CPU - M 1200 MHz
789 MHz, 512 MB of RAM

I run ccleaner all the time and Malwarebytes. I have a comcast high-speed internet connection but Firefox is really slow. I cannot look at video online or anything like that because of the slowness.

Any suggestions? I am a complete luddite, so if you could explain it to me like I'm a four-year-old, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks so much,
Insect
