Hi all,

It's really muggy and hot in the UK at the moment (30*C+), at least in the South East anyway.

Does this make a big difference to the processor temperature? The only reason I'm asking is that my processor temp has gone up 5-6 C generally speaking in the last couple of days.

Running an Athlon 2000XP with Coolermaster HHC-L61 and Asus A7V333 mobo with 4 case fans - 56*C at idle, up to about 61*C under load. MB temp is constant 28*C.

The answer seems obviously yes, but I'm just making sure!

Hey dude, well my p4 2.4 is has an idle temp of 50c now, my room is boiling hot, the temp is a bit worrying as it shoots up to 56-58c when loaded. Is this gonna cause me probs? Pc running great so far.

Well, over here in Georgia, USA it is 90+ degrees, and it is over 70% humidity.

It is HOT and STICKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way hotter than England, considering I just moved from Sussex about 5 weeks ago!

I wouldn't worry too much about your pc, just don't sit in direct sunlight of course!

Whats going on in Eastenders? I am missing home matey! Born, bred and beered up in England, this 26 year old is missing England's green and pleasant land!

deth502: P4s are thermally protected..."the CPU will turn its speed down automatically when it overheats. No damage to the CPU is possible, but the system will get slower while it's hot"
