my computer shuts down randomly. mostly when I`m watching a movie or playing or downloading something.. can it be overheating ? I`m not an expert. Two fans weren`t working when I went to setup while rebooting. Chassis FAN speed 0 rpm Second Fan speed 0 rpm should they be working or are these just somekind extra fans. Or can there be anything else wrong ?
Could be overheating or could be a weak/overloaded power supply. What is your CPU temp? If you don't have a monitoring program installed, the temp should be listed in the BIOS.
sinaii,
I don't know if you're the same person under a different name or if you're hijacking the thread. Did you try removing the additional memory to see if it made a difference? If you "removed as many viruses as possible using Avast", it sounds like you have other problems...did you scan for spyware?
