i have a p4 2.8 ghz with ht
and 2 g of ddr 400 ram
it is currently running at 333 mhz
i just wanted to know why? and if i should increase the speed.

If your CPU runs at 533MHz FSB (133MHz), your RAM should run at DDR333 speed (166MHz).

i looked on cpu-z
and it says
rated fsb: 803.9

OK, since you have an 800MHz FSB CPU, you are correct about the RAM speed...it should be increased to DDR400. I don't know what would have caused it to run as DDR333. I'm sure you have more than one stick of RAM, are you sure they're all DDR400?

motherboard has 3 slots
i have 1 1gb, and 2 512's, all are ddr400
