Reply: (edit)The 2100 ram is not going to hurt your performance because your CPU is 266mhz. The 2100 ram is also. If you plan on overclocking, then take the 2100 ram out and only run the 3200 ram. 512mb of 3200 ram is fast enough for most applications to run on. Do a search on your question about overclocking the 2000XP. Look to your left. See "Site Search." Type in your question. Then come back if you need more help. YO

Reply: (edit)Just to add to what YO wrote...if your CPU is running at 133MHz (266FSB), your RAM is probably running at the same speed. So even though you have PC3200 installed, it's acting as PC2100 anyway. If you want advice on overclocking, we'd need to know the make/model of your board & whether the CPU is locked or unlocked. If your board supports 200MHz (400FSB) & the CPU is unlocked, remove the stick of PC2100 & try clocking your CPU to 8.5 x 200 (1700MHz). Make sure the RAM is set to run at 200MHz as well. Reply: (edit)Your list of info doesn't give a motherboard make/model. All it lists is KT400, which is the chipset model number. Try one of these: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?pid=1&lang=en&pageid=3 Asus A7N8X-X 1800+ @ 8 x 210MHz 512MB PC3200 Asus Ti4200 128MB WinME/WinXP Pro
