Ok building new comp and am wondering if its worth the 250 dollar difference for the 9800 pro apposed to the 9600, i am going to overclock either prolly gonna play hl2, doom3 jus want to run decently

Believe me you'll see a HUGE HUGE difference. But is it worth the extra $250? It's your call depending on your needs and your budget.

Easiest thing to do is get a 9800 non pro, and flash the bios to a 9800 pro, save $$$, information can be found withing a google search (ie, search for 9800 to 9800pro

its worth it but if you really dont want to spend that much extra get a 9600xt.
