My processor is a p4 3.06 with 533 fsb. I was wondering if a mobo that says it is for a p4 prescott and says it is a socket 478 and will run 533 fsb will be able to run my p4 northwood? Thats it.

if your CPU socket is also 478, you can.
if a MB can run on 800mhz. it can run on 533mhz.
