Comment:

I ran 2 programs on my computer one was cpu-z and the other was Everest and they both told Me that my L2 Cache was running at half speed, is that normal for P II catridge processor? If it isn't how do I change it.

Thank you all

All Pentium II processors have L2 cache that runs at half the CPU clock. There is no way to change it.

It's normal. The P2's cache was external to the processor core, and so to run it half speed helped Intel lower the cost.

Early P3s (450-600mhz) also had external half speed cache.
