I am thinking of upgrading to either an e8400 or q6600, I really didnt want to buy a new power supply. Will my ap600x have enough to overclock the q6600 or should I just go with the stock e8400?

The AP-600X is actually made by ATNG Power. Coolmax relabels it as CX-550B. The specs look reasonable, but the reviews aren't the greatest.

I have been using the one I have for over a year now with no problem at all. I am running a asus p5vm with a e6300 1.86 overclocked to 2.0, not much I know I really dont over clock much but would like to know I can if I want to. I am just trying to get away with an upgrade with out selling my house. Do you think my current power supply will handle a e8400 or q6600? A guy at work told me I would have to buy a new power supply if I wanted to overclock the q6600.
