looking in CPU-Z my CPU v-core is going up and down like a yoyo so im considering getting new good PSU as i currently have a 350w (CHEAP) and i think its causing it can i refy this and i checked on POWER WATTAGE CALCULATOR AND THEY SAY I ONLY NEED A 300W psu but im goign to get a 550w to cover my self another question how many W'S shouls i get on my +12v rail as im always hearing how you need alot to power ide drives etc i was looking at 25-30w is this good

A decent 550W PSU is gonna run you between $75-100...if you spend any less, chances are you're buying junk. If you're not having problems, don't worry about it. Invest in a video card instead & get rid of that cheap piece of crap MX4000...it doesn't matter how much you overclock it, it will NEVER be a good card.

Get a power supply with dual 12v rail with each at least 15A and you'll be fine... Brands to consider would be antec, enermax, FSP, OCZ and Zalman...

yeh just seen a dual rail with 17a and 16a on each rail and 600w so im cosindering that but it is a weird manfacture but im quesing with that wattage and amps per rail it should be ok and yeh i know m8 i should really get a new vga card but im only 15 so money is short and far inbetween so its save save save!!! lol

you don't need a 600W PSU...actually, you don't even need 550W. What you need is quality! Buy a brand name unit not a "weird manfacture" & be prepared to pay for it.

If the system is stable, and the voltage stays within +/-5% range, then I don't see any reason why you would change your power supply...

i get vcore gains from 1.39-1.5 volts is this major and thats why im considering new PSU and i found the make to be ATRIX has any one had and past use or knowledge with their PSU's thanks

There's another great Chinese unknown brand. Why do people risk their whole systems by trying to save a few bucks on one of the most important pieces???
