thanks, It is the right size. I notice it is soldered onto the PSU mainboard, how would I go about terminating the end of these wires?

Can I just bodge them to the pins on the mainboard (the sysfan pins). Or do I need to connect them straight to the working psu in the PC?

Thanks

-Chris

it might be just a better idea to buy a fan, more air flow output (cfm) and they are cheap, plus you have tons of selections!

just go buy a fan and keep your now working PSU as a spare. If you end up damaging the psu and have to replace yours at some point you will have trashed a $25 PSU for the sake of a $5 fan....doesn't make sense....

Hi, right now I have 2 old PSU fans in my case. I just grabbed them out of old PSUs, and they work great. I just spliced the connector for a 4 prong, and I am surprised at the air they push. Best part is that they are very very quiet, and easy to acquire. Good temporary solution to a sudden problem.
