OS: windows xp professional
CPU/Ram: 3.0 LGA , 1 Gb
Product: 945 GNTL
Comment:

I have intel board 945 GNTL , intel original cpu 3.0 with 2Mb cash, 1 Gb memory, 80 GB harddisk , and case prascot
my problem is the temperatuare of the cpu its reaching the maximum 68 C and more when i play games like fifa2006 , call of duty also its reaching this temperature when i install programs that require high cpu usage and when iam not doing those things its always like this :
Processor Zone Temperature : 60 C
System Zone 1 Temperature : 50 C
System Zone 2 Temperature : 44 C
the weather temperature where i live is between 25 and 30 C
my case has 3 extra fans , 1 over the cpu and 2 from the side
and am always monitering the cpu temperature from the Intel(R) Desktop Utilities
how can i solve this problem?
is it because am using the built in 128mb vga?

"how can i solve this problem?"

Things you can do to cool down the CPU

1. Make sure the case has good air flow by putting 1 intake fan the power button and 1 exhaust fan below the power supply and make sure all the cables are wrapped...
2. Vaccum the case, fan and heatsink clean if they are filled with dust bunnies.
3. Take out the heatsink and wipe it clean with alcohol (including the CPU) and re-apply Arctic Silver 5.
4. Replace the heatsink with a more efficent ones like Zalman CNPS9500 or Thermaltake CL-P0024 w/ 92mm fan...

1 fan below the power button is what I mean... Usually the case has some air holes there and should able to put in a 80mm fan for standard...

This has nothing to do with your video card.

You have two intake fans and one above the CPU. This is not good, because you have no exhaust fans. You should always match the number of intake fans with exhaust fans. Intakes go in the front or sides of the case, and exhaust through the back, preferrably nearest the top (Most PSUs have two fans which can act as exhaust fans).

Also your "prascot" processor is notorious for high system temperatures, so expect fairly high temps in general.

yah man thats right but belive me i tried and nothing works
because of this it might be vga because the problem is with the games and when i restart computer...
1 more thing intel is a big company
why they didnt notice this problem...
it must work fine with the default cooler.. or it should be!

Your "System Zone" temps indicate that it's very hot inside your case. Try taking off the side panel and running it, making note of the temps on the CPU. If things are better, then case ventilation is your problem.
