can anyone tell me the highest processor i can put in my computer. i have a compaq presario 5bw130 that currently has a celeron 667 mhz. any help would be great thanks.

I belive 1GHz- Searching Compaq site can be a nightmare. My friend had a presario 5bw130
500MHz celeron we upgrade to 1GHz celeron. To tell you the truth Ram upgrade was the bigger difference, not the CPU.

thanks for the info. i have upgraded the ram and it was a big difference. i just bought a new computer and am keeping this one for my kid and just wanted to make it as good as i possible could.
