Comment:

I got this computer with abit bp6 motherboard and I was trying to install a western Digital enhanced IDE HD, model # WD800EB-00DJF0 and it just does not want to detect it.
I have it plugged into the black connector on the mother board and when I start it up it shows no primary master or slave and no secondaries which I have disconnected, when it starts there is one quick beep and after it detects nothing it also stated CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Please recheck....CPU soft menu.
at the bottom left there is this 06/08/1999-i440BX-W83977-2A69KA1SC-LP.
