whenever i restart my computer, rather than actually restarting, it goes into suspend mode and won't respong to anything other than the reset button. this happens whenever the system has to restart (choosing restart from start menu, restarting after installing new software, restarting with ctrl+alt+del, etc). I don't think this is a Windows problem because i have completely formatted my drive an reinstalled windows several times and the problem still remains, so i figure it must be a bios or hardware problem. any ideas???

just so you know, this didn't use to happen. it only started after the first time i reinstalled windows (to fix registry problems with a network card)
