I have my AQXDA barton at 10 x 217 on an nf7-s v2 board along with 512mb kingston hyper-x ddr3500. Right now i have the vcore set to 1.7 as well. When i run prime it gets an error in 1 minute but my system seems stable after playing games for hours. What could be the problem? Any suggestions?
Possible reasons: 1. your Vcore is not high enough; 2. your cooling is not sufficient; 3. your RAM timings are too tight; 4. your Vdimm is low.
Others may have other explainations.

Im afraid my cpu cannot handle 1.75 for some reason. I have an slk-8 with a smartfan up on highest setting. When i had it on 1.75 it went above 65C so i shut it off and lowered it.
My temps are around 48C (~120 F) load
Timings are 2 3 3 11 I was wondering if anyone is using Kingston Hyper-X 3500 512 stick. I cant really find any sites critiquing this ram. I have my Vdimm cranked up to 2.9.
Is there any easy trick to allow me to higher my Vdimm?
Your board is limited to Vdimm 2.9V, unless you Vdimm mod it, that's the max you can go and I think that's plenty juice (maybe too much for your ram. I'd suggest that you get better cooling first. SLK-800 is a decent cooler and the smart fan is up to the work too. You may want to reseat the cooler and better your case cooling. Looks like the Prime 95 error has nothing to do with your ram.
