I've recently got powerstrip just to see what the hype over it was. When i went to the monter section i noticed it said my monitor, which is a spectre 20.1 monitor and said its capabilities are 2248x1264 (79khz/95khz). My monitor i know can only support up to 1680x1050, thats what windows tells me. Now does this mean i can overclock or change the timings, ect. to reach this resolution or near it and actually play using it? If anybody knows it would greatly be appreciated.

Running the monitor out of specs will destroy it. Best check with the manual produced by monitor manf. The EDD info from a monitor is often incorrect but rarely that far off. Chances are the windoz OS is supplying the VESA size only. Monitors are capable of using resoultions that are not VESA compliant. Yours may be one ... but check the specs before running it at whatever PS says it is. Never trust software that can co$t you hundred$ ... for that matter, never blindly trust software. ;)
