Comment:

I have an Athlon PC that shuts down without warning. In order to start it again, I need to unplug the power cable and plug it back into the power supply, but after a certain amount of time, it shuts down again. A bought a new power supply but I still have this problem, I'm also monitoring the CPU temperature and motherboard temp and they seem to be within normal operating parameters (70 - 75C for processeror). I'm a bit perplexed as to what the problem could be and I would appreciate any insite. Thanks.

70-75 is pretty hot for a cpu man....you might wanna clean ur CPU Fan or get a better one...my XP2500 overclocked to XP3200 barely ever hits 55....sounds like its an overheating problem
