I need some help for over clocking my p3 600mHz. I'm running it on a Gigabyte GA-BX2000 motherboard. When i go into the BIOS configuration at the start of bootup, there is no option to change the Multipliers or system clock... please i need some help, this thing is soooo slow. Thx for any help

You can't change the multipliers on intel cpu THEIR LOCKED, the only way to oc is to up the fsb..if you don't see that then your out of luck.

on older mb's, your options are often limited. if the BIOS does not include it, you can modify the BIOS before flashing it, but this is not the safest route. There are program's out there that will allow you to increase the FSB from windows, though this is also highy unstable at it will raise the frequency of all components (since they are fixed ratios)

Best option - spend the $40 bucks on a new processor
