Help! I've just a got a new bigger case and so i fitted my motherboard, cards, fans, memory, cd roms, cables, etc from my old case into the new case and switched on. Everything seems to be running, the fans, power unit and hard drives are all working, but there seems to no signal from the graphics card to the monitor. All the cables seem to be fitted correcty and the cards seem to be seated correctly. I've restarted but no joy.
I can see the fan working on the graphics card, so something must be working. How do i get a picture on my monitor. Have i killed anthing??
System
Gigabyte GA7-DX mobo
Leadtek Geforce 3 graphics card
Athlon 1.4
300w power supply
512MB DDR
2 hard drives
1xDVD ROM & 1 x CD Writer

If your video card is not seated properly and your PC speaker is hooked up, you should hear beeps from the POST.

The speaker is hooked up and i cant the beeps from the POST routine. I took out the graphics card and put it back in again, but this dosent do anything.
I'm not sure how to proceed now.....any ideas?
Thanks

Well, the problem is either the card or the tube. Can you switch one or the other and try to eliminate one? Borrow someone's monitor real fast, or swap another card in and see what happens - you may need to start in VGA mode to make sure the combination doesn't burn something else up, but at least you'll be able to tell if you get a picture.Just because the little green light is on the monitor doesn't mean the thing's gonna display anything..
