Hi, quick question.
Can a Motherboard from an Pentium MMX 233Mhz run an x86 731Mhz celeron?
Pentium 1 would be socket 7...a Celeron will not work.
Your best bet would be a K6-2, but ONLY if you can set the CPU voltage down to 2.2v. The MMX runs at 2.8v & that would fry a K6-2. If your max FSB is 66MHz, you could run a 400MHz CPU...if it's 75MHz, you could run a 450MHz CPU. This is possible because the K6-2 interprets the 2.0x multiplier setting as 6.0x
