my son was taking a interest in watching my trying to overcock my pc..lol must be mad.
he would like some advice on overclocking his Shuttle.
Shuttle SG33G5M Deluxe
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132246
cpu...Intel Pentium D 945 Socket 775 3.4GHz 2x2MB FSB800.
ram...2 x 1gig ddr2 800mhz pc2-6400
i think theres some overclock pre-sets in the bios.
but i told him its always best to manually input if possible

If possible, lower the RAM speed to 533MHz, if not, lower it to 667MHz.
Lock the PCIe at 100MHz.
Disable any/all Spread Spectrum settings.
Disable Speedstep (EIST).
Begin increasing the CPU frequency a little at a time....210MHz, 215MHz, 220MHz, 225MHz, etc. Boot into Windows after each change & test for stability, if all is well, go back & raise the CPU frequency another step, then test for stability again. Continue until you develop a problem. At that point you have the choice of adding more CPU voltage or just backing off to the last stable setting.
Use OCCT to stress test the system:
