In Portugal schools are selling Notebooks to teachers and studants for 150€ + 12 months of Wirless Internet:

Here are the specs:
Pentium Dual Core 1.46Ghz;
1Gb Ram;
80Gb HD;
Vista Premium;
Office 2007;

They dont mention the Video Card...but overall do you think its worth it?

PS:whats the difference from core 2 Duo and Pentium Dual core?

Amd Athlon 5200 2.6ghz;
Asus m2n-e sli;
2GB DDR800 kingston;
Asus GF8600GTS;
Seagate 7200rpm 320GB;

What is € ? is that a Euro? I think 150 Euros is approx $215 US, so it's a good deal.

Pentium Dual core is "old" technology...the Core 2 Duo is modern technology. The C2D is a much better performing CPU & is more energy efficient, so it's better on battery life.

The Pentium Dual core does use new technology and uses the Core microarchitecture and if anything uses less power then core 2 duos due to less cache (although I may be wrong on the last part)

The Pentium dual core and Pentium D are DIFFERENT CPUS, Intel quietly released the Pentium dual core to give more performance then celerons but less than core 2 duos, basically there mainstreem core 2 is high end and celeron low end.
