Specs: XP Pro, 1256
I have a Pentium4 that I gave to my nephew for light gaming and I was woundering what the tempurature should be ranges from 33 c at startup to 45 c on load (Battlefield 2 Gameplay). And I was woundering if this is stable I'm gonna be leaving for a couple years to go in the navy and wanted to know if this was normal before I split. Thanks for any info I can get...

It's normal for P4's to have large temp swings from idle to full load. 33°C idle to 60+°C full load running something like Super Pi is common.

Looks like Battlefield 2 isn't a real demanding game...your temps are fine.

Alright thanks Skip..I went out last night a bought some new thermal compound for the CPU. Applied it and its holding at a nice 30 c. Plus I put a fan blowing directly on that should be good...but thanks for the info. Later
